In the Hebrew Bible, God commanded the Israelites to live into the literal tithe (or 10%) and offerings (anything above the tithe) as the tangible evidence of their relationship with God.  Today, we believe this spiritual practice is a necessary sign of our willingly following Jesus.  It is our faithful response to God’s salvation and loving presence in our lives.  As you begin to think about your generosity plans for 2024, I invite you to begin with prayer.  This is where God speaks and will lead you to determine what you should give of your time, talent, and treasure in the coming year.  Next, I invite you to complete a commitment card for 2024.  Finally, if you already commit to annually support the church and fulfill your pledge, I would invite you to join the church leaders who have increased their 2024 pledges by 5 to 10%. 

We still have so much to accomplish, and your gifts ensure that we can rise to the call of God to love mercy and to act justly.  After prayer and reflection, I invite you to click the link to complete your 2024 pledge.  If you have never or have not recently made a pledge, I invite you to join the rest of us who see this as a mark of committed disciples.
