This Week’s Sermon

Sunday, October 14

This Sunday we start our new worship series titled Offerings:  A Holy Act.  Over the next four weeks we will look at the nature of the offerings that are listed in Leviticus and see what they imply for each of us.

As we consider stewardship of God’s creation and the blessings that God has bestowed upon us, we will also consider the correlating responsibility God has entrusted to each of us.  We are blessed so that we might bless God and others.

This Sunday we will focus on the nature of these gifts and the fact that God demanded perfection.  I invite you to join us in this conversation.  Our worship services are at 8:30 am and 10:45 am.  All are welcome here at St. John’s.  I invite you to come and join us as we worship God.

Until Sunday, blessings for the journey.
