This Week’s Sermon

Sunday, December 10

Second Sunday of Advent

“God With Us”

As the Christmas season approaches we prepare for many different things.  The liturgical season of Advent is meant to be a time of preparing our hearts and lives to experience anew or afresh God who is with us.  This season we will take time to dwell on this reality, “God With Us.”  The threads of hymnody and the four Advent expressions of hope, peace, joy, and love will guide our conversations.  On Christmas Eve we will celebrate the light of Christ that announces that God is with us!  You are invited to join us this Advent season to proclaim, discover, or reclaim God who is with you.

 Until Sunday, God’s richest blessings.
