Where do we go from here? Beginning on Tuesday, April 23rd , delegates from around the globe will meet in Charlotte, NC to determine our future. In advance of this, Bishop Bob Farr of the Missouri Annual Conference and two of his staff members held a pre-conference briefing and I would like for us to take time to view the recorded briefing together. Up for discussion; proposed regionalization plan for the UMC, inclusion in the UMC, and Wespath’s proposal for a new clergy pension plan. This is only 3 of the 1099 valid petitions to be discussed and decided upon during General Conference. We invite you to come discuss the future of the UMC and what that means for St. John’s.
