Our purpose is two-fold – first is to worship God and second is to be sent into the world achieving God’s purposes.  Engaging those around us is an act of invitation and service prompted by the life and gift giving presence of the Holy Spirit.  Embracing the communal life of St. John’s United Methodist Church carries with it the commitment to love God and serve others in the ways Jesus Christ modeled for all of us.  All who claim the name of Jesus Christ are invited to respond to God’s mission of service and justice in our world.
